Maureen Quale

I found my love of basket weaving at a class given at my public library in 2008. After that there was no looking back! I began taking instructions and creating baskets whenever possible. I began teaching in 2012.

This creative lien has come as somewhat of a surprise to me and trying new techniques and dyeing  my own reed an unexpected pleasure. I have retired as of 2014 and have found great satisfaction teaching this nearly lost art.

I am thrilled to have been accepted into the guild and will continue to expand my knowledge and spread the practice of basket weaving for function and form.
