Richard Glover

Subsequent to a long and successful career in business, Richard Glover returned to an earlier passion for the creative arts. Having had no formal education in fine arts, he was determined to become self-taught in order to develop his own individual style. Early in life, he displayed a talent to faithfully draw what was put before him and this ability become the foundation of his art.

His variety of subject matter is a reflection of inspiration garnered through close observation of his surroundings as well as personal life experiences. He works with oils, graphite, pastel, colored pencil, and watercolor. This variety of media choices provides for a customized approach to capturing the essence of the subject matter.

Currently he summers in his home town of East Aurora, N.Y. and spends winters at his Pawleys Island, SC condo. This arrangement provides the wealth of unique material that he brings to his work.

Richard is a proud Juried Artist in The Arts and Craftsmen Guild on the Historic Roycroft Campus.
