Ina Randall

I am a traditional quilter who has transitioned to becoming a mixed media fiber artist, incorporating paint and paper on fabric adding  yarns, beads etc. using a sewing machine and hand stitching, couching, appliqué and beading. I also needle felt 2D and 3D pieces sometimes incorporating  them into my quilted pieces.

 

Inspiration for my work comes from things such as a piece of fabric, a picture, a technique class or article just to name a few. I enjoy creating pieces that give me joy.

 

My work has been sold and/or  awarded numerous prize ribbons in Rochester and at various local quilt shows and galleries such as the River Art Gallery and Gifts and the Springville Center of the Arts.

 

Presentations/trunk shows of my work have been made to Clarence Log Cabin Quilters, Amherst Quilt Guild, Morningstar Quilt Guild, Southtown Piecemakers Quilt Guild, the Niagara Art Society, West Seneca Art Society and the Roycroft  Arts and Craftsman Guild.
